Both the student and their parent (if applicable) are required to use an FSA ID, made up of a username and password, to electronically sign the FAFSA. Then submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
You will need 2024 income information to fill out the 2026-2027 FAFSA. This will be used to determine eligibility for Summer 2026, Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
You will need 2023 income information to fill out the 2025-2026 FAFSA. This will be used to determine eligibility for Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 terms.
The CADAA is for undocumented, AB540 eligible students.
Submit the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) to be processed by the California Student Aid Commission.

The MCC Financial Aid Office will notify you if you need to submit documentation to the MCC Financial Aid Office, and when your Financial Aid Offer Letter is ready to view.
On Self Service through your SCCCD Portal, you can view your Financial Aid Offer Letter, see if anything is missing, and sign up for a direct deposit.
